Questions we get asked
- Does EventCrew take a commission?
- No. What you agree with an organiser is what you invoice, and we are not in the payment path. Membership is the only thing we charge for.
- Is it free for organisers?
- Yes, entirely. Posting briefs, searching suppliers, shortlisting a team and sending enquiries cost nothing, with no limit on how many briefs you post.
- What does verification actually check?
- Companies House registration, public liability insurance above £5m, and any licences the category requires — SIA for security, personal licences for bar staff, food hygiene ratings for caterers.
- Can I cancel?
- At any point, from your dashboard. The membership runs to the end of the period you have paid for and then stops. We do not ask why.
